The update to the freeform product detail page (PDP) brings improvements in styling and functionality that make it even easier for customers to personalise and order products. 

We have been rolling out the new Freeform PDP in phases over the past few weeks, so that we can apply the specific styling of each shop.

What does the new Freeform PDP mean for you guys?

• Price display:

  • Unique types of Freeform cards, such as tent cards, acrylic cards and name cards, are now displayed by staffing so that customers can see the correct prices at a glance.

     

    For products sold by the item, the unit price is shown instead of graduated prices, so that the price display remains clear and relevant.

  • Prices are shown from the minimum order quantity of the product.

• Foil options: 

  New foil displays make it easier for customers to view and choose available options.

   

  Format change: For some products, customers can change formats directly on the PDP. This offers more flexibility and convenience during the ordering process. This applies, for example, to tiles, memory boxes, roll-up posters, stickers and window stickers.

Conversion based customer match activate

For most white labels, we do not manage Google Ads and often do not have Customer match lists set up. This will have to be picked up and set up yourself.

Google has a simple feature to trigger Customer match based on conversions. This feature automatically creates audience segments for each of the conversion goals for which improved conversions are active.

You can easily turn on the conversion-based customer match lists in the Google Ads account after which you can actively target them over time if the lists are large enough.

Account Settings > Customer Match > tick the 2nd option > Save

We have another great product available, the insert sleeve.

Actually, you could think of it as a kind of alternative to the pocketfold that you can print on.

The pocket pouch consists of two rounded flaps, of which the left one is longer than the right one and covers each other.

Inside the pouch is an incision for a card measuring 11x17cm. The pouch can be closed with a nice string or ribbon.

Editor

In the editor, the customer starts by designing the outside. The second page in the editor is therefore the inside of the slipcase.
Because the flaps overlap, we do not recommend using continuous designs on the outside as this will not fit nicely.

From next week, we will go live with the new olive green envelopes. 

Olive green with a gold inlay is a beautiful combination and a popular colour. We have decided to add it to the range, in all 4 inlay sizes and as a special envelop for the pocketfold.

The olive green envelope colour is already in the paper sample sets included.

The complaints in December

• A total of 849 complaints were registered.

  1,201 is the number of reprints made.

  Total number of order lines placed: 55,875

  849 complaints is 1.52%

Delivery

Of those 849, 224 appear to be for DHL and/or PostNL and/or BPost and/or Deutsche Post. That is 26% of the complaints. 
These include missing postal items/packages and damaged shipments.

Intern

75 complaints were registered under ‘internal’ (Sparkles) (8.8%). By far the most of these, are complaints due to queue checks(67x). The figure is 7.9% (i.e. check only).

Sparkles Printing

For Sparkles Printing, 697 complaints were created on 47,093 order lines (1.48%).

Approved complaints – top 5

1. 54x were missing an extra product in the delivery – mostly too few envelopes. Here we also see more often that all envelopes are missing, and again this is due to the packing line learning process and/or software.
2. 48x (part of) the foil was not applied.
3. 40x the cards were not properly cut, especially not centred, white edges or rounded corners.
4. 25x the customer received an extra product other than what was ordered. Mostly wrong colour or size envelopes.
5. 24x there were stains/wipes on the cards that should not be there. Some causes that recurred more often were the coating problem with the Coated Cardboard and streaks.

Rejected complaints – top 3

1. 28x were missing an extra product – almost always envelopes.
2. 18x laser punch – a number of times the design was not right.
3. 14x damaged – mostly damaged by shipping.
